Enfield ~ No. 4 Mark I ~ None

This Enfield No. 4 Mark I is a sporterized bolt-action rifle in Excellent Condition with a bright bore. The Rifle No. 4 Mk I was adopted by Britain in 1941 and served through the Second World War and Korea. Its Lee-Enfield bolt action was designed to be stronger and easier to produce than the earlier No. 1 rifle, and it uses a detachable box magazine and a receiver-mounted rear aperture sight. After the war, many surplus examples were sporterized, with the front furniture reduced or removed. This rifle has a 19-inch rifled barrel, a trimmed wood fore-end, and a wood stock with blued metal. The bore is listed as bright, and a detachable magazine is included. Please note that caliber is not specified in the available specifications (the bore is listed as .30 / 7.62mm), so inspect the barrel and receiver markings and confirm the chambering before purchase. A practical bolt-action with military history, this Enfield suits collectors and hunters alike.
