The EOTech HWS 512 is a holographic weapon sight designed for fast target acquisition with both eyes open, which helps preserve peripheral vision and depth perception while shooting. Its low-profile body is intended to keep the sight close to the line of the firearm.
The sight uses a 1x magnification reticle with a 1 MOA dot and a 68 MOA ring. It has an integral Picatinny (Weaver-style) base, a matte black finish, an overall length of 5.6 inches, and a weight of 11.5 ounces.
