Pronounced "Hoonglas," named after the Colombian Jungla Special Operations Forces. This knife was designed for the Latin American jungle and counter-narcotics operations. This knife will make short work of even the most demanding tasks. The carbon steel knives are made from 1095 steel. And while this is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the users responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. As part of ESSE's continuing commitment to training and outdoor education, the box includes survival, navigation and emergency signaling information printed on the box sleeve.
