EGW Guns Scope Base Features The EGW Guns Picatinny Rail Mount is machined in-house from 6061 T6 extruded aluminum then tumbled sand blasted and Type II anodized for long-lasting durability on the Browning AB3 short action. Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail giving the shooter flexibility when positioning scope rings and other mounted accessories. A center channel reduces the overall mass of the mount and in many cases avoids obstructing the use of factory iron sights. The standard bevel machined into both sides of the mount makes it ambidextrous suiting right and left-handed shooters without any modification. This mount carries 0 MOA of elevation which EGW recommends for shooting distances between 0 and 500 yards where additional built-in elevation is unnecessary. EGW advises measuring the hole spacing on the receiver to confirm it matches their published dimensions before ordering. Installation calls for 20 inch pounds of torque along with a drop of blue Loctite sold separately to keep the mount secure under recoil over time.
