Faxon Firearms Medium Profile 8.6 Blackout 12" Savage 110 Barrel

Faxon Firearms Savage Medium Profile Barrel Features The Faxon Firearms Medium Profile Barrel is machined from raw 416-R stainless steel bar stock then fully stress-relieved to keep the barrel shooting accurately over its service life rather than walking as it heats up. Every barrel goes through air-gauge testing and Magnetic Particle Inspection at each stage of production catching flaws before they reach a customer s rifle. An 11-degree target crown protects the critical final inch of rifling and helps ensure consistent bullet release for tighter groups. The 1:3 twist rate is purpose-built for 8.6 Blackout stabilizing the heavy long-for-caliber bullets this cartridge is designed around. Finished in black nitride after machining the barrel gains a layer of surface hardness and corrosion resistance beyond what raw stainless offers. The 12 threaded barrel ships complete with a barrel nut adapter and thread protector giving Savage 110 owners everything needed for a straightforward swap onto a compatible action. This barrel is not compatible with Faxon s own FX7 bolt action receiver so fitment should be confirmed against a genuine Savage 110 pattern action. For shooters building a dedicated 8.6 Blackout rifle on the widely available Savage 110 platform this Faxon barrel offers a direct drop-in upgrade path.
