Description
The Faxon Duty Series Big Gunner is a 12-inch AR-10 barrel chambered for the 8.6 Blackout cartridge, developed in partnership with Q. It is built for shooters who want a heavier-duty replacement or upgrade barrel for an AR-10 platform.
The barrel is machined from 4150 GBQ steel and finished with QPQ nitride coating for durability. It is button rifled, uses a 1:3 twist rate, and features a medium taper behind the gas block and an 11-degree target crown. Each barrel is magnetic particle inspected and air-gauge tested.
The barrel uses an LR-308 barrel extension and is compatible with DPMS-pattern AR-10 receivers. It is finished in black.
