Description
The Faxon EXOS-553 is a pistol compensator for Glock 17, 19 and 34 Gen 5 pistols chambered in 9mm Luger. It is machined from 6061 aluminum and finished in black anodize, and it threads onto the barrel with a 1/2"-28 pitch.
The compensator uses a single chamber with an angled front port. According to the manufacturer, the angled port directs gas upward rather than only sideways, which is intended to reduce muzzle climb and recoil and improve shot-to-shot consistency. For non-Faxon barrels, the barrel should protrude .600" or less for a flush fit with the slide.
Each unit includes thread locker, two 6-32 set screws and a 1/16 inch Allen wrench. Fitment with other pistols or Glock generations is not guaranteed.
