After the rigorous testing process, each barrel is finished with Nitride treatment and undergoes a final inspection. Every barrel is individually checked for headspace using precision custom hardened gauges to ensure flawless performance. Manufactured in house from gun barrel quality bar stock, the Match Series begins with 416R stainless steel and features 5R rifling. This hybrid rifling, with lands opposite grooves and reduced sharp angles, minimizes jacket deformation, increases velocity and makes cleaning easier. The barrels are chambered in .223 Wylde, a hybrid chamber that maximizes the benefits of the 5R rifling for improved accuracy and less bullet jump and each barrel is individually MPI tested for your safety. After extensive testing, the barrels are treated with Nitride inside and out, locking in the bore for enhanced durability, improved barrel life and protection against the elements. The extension is coated in Nickel Teflon, providing superior dry lubricity and corrosion resistance. This coating also tightens the fit between the extension and receiver, further improving accuracy.
