Faxon Firearms ARAK-21 XRS Features The Faxon Firearms ARAK-21 XRS is built on a receiver machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum with graceful complex curves that show off the attention to detail in the machining process while remaining fully compatible with standard AR-15 lower receiver parts kits. The direct impingement operating system drives a 16 inch match grade threaded barrel with a 1:8 twist rate chambered for both 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem to give shooters flexibility in ammunition selection. A set screw retained takedown pin spring simplifies assembly and keeps the rifle running tight over repeated disassembly. The enlarged integrated trigger guard and Radian Vertex trigger give shooters a clean consistent break suited to both defensive and precision applications. Up top the full length Picatinny rail spans the receiver while three additional rails at the muzzle end create a full M4 style quad rail upper for lights lasers and other accessories.
