Federal Fusion Component 7mm / .284 140 Grain 100-Count FSP

Federal Fusion Component Features The Federal Fusion component bullet uses an inseparable jacket construction that bonds the copper jacket directly to the lead core delivering high weight retention that keeps the bullet performing consistently through heavy bone and tissue. This 140 grain .284 diameter Fusion Soft Point is pre-programmed for optimum expansion meaning the bullet reliably opens up on impact rather than over-penetrating or failing to expand at varying velocities. The boat-tailed design improves ballistic coefficient and downrange stability translating into flatter trajectories and better retained energy at extended hunting ranges. Handloaders building their own 7mm ammunition gain access to the same terminal performance that has made factory-loaded Fusion ammunition a trusted choice among deer hunters. Federal built the Fusion line on the latest in deer bullet technology and offering these projectiles as standalone components lets serious handloaders tailor their own loads around this proven design. A copper jacket over a lead core provides the structural integrity needed for controlled expansion across a range of impact velocities encountered in real hunting scenarios. These bullets are sold strictly as reloading components and are not a substitute for loaded ammunition. For handloaders who want Fusion s advanced expansion technology in their own 7mm hunting loads these component bullets deliver factory-proven performance at a reasonable price.
