Federal Terminal Ascent .30 Caliber / .308 175 Grain 50-Count TA

Federal Terminal Ascent Features The Federal Terminal Ascent component bullet uses a bonded lead core and jacket construction that keeps the bullet intact through deep penetration even on game encountered at closer ranges where impact velocities are highest. A patented Slipstream polymer tip is engineered to initiate expansion reliably at velocities roughly 200 feet per second lower than other polymer tipped designs extending the bullet s effective expansion range considerably. This combination gives hunters confidence that the bullet will perform whether the shot presents itself up close or stretched out to long range. The bullet s long sleek profile is shaped specifically to produce an extremely high ballistic coefficient helping it buck wind and retain velocity better than shorter blunter designs. AccuChannel groove technology is machined into the bullet s bearing surface a feature that reduces bore friction and drag while improving overall accuracy potential. Weighing 175 grains with a .308 inch diameter this bullet is sized for the .30 caliber family of cartridges favored by long range hunters and precision shooters alike. Reloaders should note these are component bullets intended strictly for handloading not loaded ammunition ready to fire out of the box. Packaged 50 to a box the Federal Terminal Ascent component bullet is available for sale at ARMSAGORA for reloaders building their own precision .30 caliber hunting loads.
