The FN 509 Tactical, an evolution of FN's acclaimed 509 series, builds upon the company's proven submission pistol for the U.S. Army's Modular Handgun Trials. Key to its versatility is FN's patented Low-Profile Optics Mounting System (U.S. Patent No. 10/352,654), which accommodates over ten miniature red-dot (MRD) optics.
