FN AR-15 16" 5.56 NATO Mid-Length Button Rifled Barrel 1:7 Twist

This is a 16-inch replacement barrel for AR-15 rifles, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and built by FN. It is intended for builders and owners who need a mid-length gas system barrel for an AR-style rifle.

The barrel is button rifled with a 1:7 twist rate and is made from chrome moly vanadium steel. The bore and chamber are chrome lined to resist corrosion and heat erosion. The exterior has a black manganese phosphate finish, and the barrel includes M4-style feed ramps and a barrel extension for consistent feeding.

The barrel fits AR rifles using a mid-length gas system. Each barrel is high pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected before shipment. Manufacturer part number 20-100041.
