The FN Five-seveN MRD's proprietary optics-mounting system consists of a series of plates that match your optic to the slide for a quick and seamless setup - simply remove the cover plate, select the compatible optic plate and screw set that match your MRD and mount using the provided hardware. The system is compatible with most common optic footprints, offering an unmatched variety of options. New stippling and textures on the ergonomic frame as well as enhanced serrations on the slide, trigger guard and safety selector enable superior grip and control in an already soft-recoiling pistol. Description
The FN Five-seveN MRD is a full-size, semi-automatic pistol chambered in 5.7x28mm, sold as a bundle with two magazines. It is built on the Five-seveN platform and features a proprietary optics-mounting system: interchangeable plates match a compatible mini red dot sight to the slide, and the included hardware completes the installation.
The pistol has a 4.8-inch chrome-lined, cold hammer-forged barrel and an 8.2-inch overall length. It uses a single-action trigger with an internal hammer, a polymer frame, a steel slide with serrations, and adjustable 3-dot sights. The grip is textured polymer and the safety is ambidextrous.
Each magazine holds 20 rounds. The pistol is listed as right-hand and in black with a matte black finish.
