The FN M249S PARA is a semi-automatic belt-fed rifle that is part of FN America s Military Collector Series. It is a classic interpretation of the firearms that FN designed and sold to the U.S. military. The FN M249S PARA model has a collapsible stock that locks up solid and takes some force to stow reducing the overall length by 8 inches. It features a wide smooth curved trigger shoe with a 6-pound pull and a large crossbolt safety for thumb activation.
