Forster pioneered the first die of its kind in the market and it remains the leading straight-line seater die available. The sliding die chamber features a concentric bullet channel that is slightly larger than the bullet diameter, ensuring precise straight-line (co-axial) seating. The hand-polished bullet seating stem guarantees consistent reloads. The seater die is compatible with most standard reloading presses and its non-crimping design ensures accuracy, consistency and perfect alignment. Forster/Bonanza secured U.S. Patent No. 3,440,923 for the original Bench Rest seater die design, which includes a specially machined, close-fitting chamber that maintains perfect alignment of the case, bullet and seating stem. This innovative chamber design remains a defining feature of our Bench Rest seater dies, as it is the premier system among all "in-line" seater systems, supporting the entire outside diameter of the sized case rather than just the bullet and case neck. We have continually refined our seating stems to accommodate newly designed ballistic tips and to match most very low drag (VLD) bullets. Our close-fitting chamber (part No. P-30), crafted with one-piece reamers, ensures concentricity and accuracy.
