Forster Bench Rest Ultra Micrometer Seating Die 6mm PPC

Forster Products Bench Rest Ultra Micrometer Seater Die Features The Forster Bench Rest Ultra Micrometer Seater Die for 6mm PPC carries forward the straight line seating design of the original Bench Rest Seater Die holding bullet and case in perfect alignment throughout the seating stroke. Adding to that foundation is an ultra-accurate micrometer that allows fine-tuning of seating depth in either direction adjustable to increments as small as 0.0005 inch. Bright white markings on the micrometer stem make the gradations easy to read at the bench even under less than ideal lighting. This combination lets reloaders dial in a precise bullet seating depth and return to it reliably on every subsequent round. Once the desired seating depth has been measured the reloader simply adjusts the micrometer stem up or down to match and every cartridge that follows comes out to that exact length. This removes much of the guesswork and trial and error traditionally associated with seating accurate rounds. The die s non-crimping design suits cartridges like 6mm PPC where a firm consistent bullet grip from neck tension alone is preferred over a roll crimp. Precision rifle and bench rest competitors will appreciate the repeatability this seater die brings to their handloading process.
