Foxtail Precision Docter Rear Sight Dovetail Optic Adapter Plate for S&W M&P 2.0 Black

Foxtail Precision Docter Rear Sight Dovetail Optic Adapter Plate Features The Foxtail Precision Rear Sight Dovetail Optic Adapter Plate is designed to replace the factory rear sight on a Smith and Wesson M&P or M&P 2.0 pistol including C.O.R.E. models giving owners of non optics ready slides a path to mounting a red dot. Machined from 7075 aluminum the plate is both lightweight and strong enough to handle the recoil forces of regular pistol use without shifting zero. The black anodized finish provides corrosion resistance and a clean factory like appearance once installed. Because it seats in the factory rear sight dovetail installation does not require slide milling or gunsmithing making it an accessible upgrade for most shooters. This adapter plate accepts optics built to the Burris FastFire Vortex Venom or Docter footprint covering several of the most common compact red dot options on the market. At 4.10 inches long and 0.5 inches tall it adds minimal height over the bore axis helping keep the sight picture as close to factory as possible. Weighing only 1.12 ounces the plate adds negligible weight to the pistol once installed. Mounting hardware is included in the package giving shooters everything needed to complete the upgrade and get their red dot mounted and ready to zero.
