G96 Nitro Solvent 6 oz Aerosol

G96 Products Nitro Solvent Features The G96 Products Nitro Solvent is a heavy-duty solvent formulated to cut through leading powder residue and metal fouling quickly restoring a bore to a clean like-new condition after a day of shooting. Packaged in a 6 oz aerosol can the solvent sprays on evenly and avoids the evaporation losses that reduce the effectiveness of solvents stored in open liquid containers. The aerosol format also keeps the product free of contamination from dirty cleaning tools since nothing needs to be dipped into the can. G96 specifically recommends this solvent for skeet and trap shooters whose shotguns see high volumes of plastic shot shell residue that can build up quickly. The solvent is formulated to neutralize corrosive acid residue buildup left behind by plastic shot shells a common issue for shotgun shooters running high volumes of ammunition. G96 recommends following up with G96 Gun Oil or G96 Gun Treatment after cleaning to protect the bore and action going forward. Shooters should note this product may be harmful around painted metal plastic synthetic stocks or varnished stocks so care should be taken during application. For shotgunners who put significant rounds downrange on a regular basis this aerosol solvent offers a fast effective way to keep a bore clean between sessions.
