The GBRS Group Lerna Mount Kit is an optic mount for holographic weapon sights with an EOTech EXPS series footprint. It raises the optic to a 2.91 inch centerline, a height intended to clear ear protection, communication headsets, gas masks, CBRN equipment, and helmet-mounted night vision systems.
The mount is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in black anodize. It weighs 4 oz. The kit includes a 1/4 inch drive T25 bit for installation. According to the product description, the elevated height is also meant to support a more upright shooting posture when wearing body armor.
