Geissele Automatics Geissele 7mm G-Strat Cut Rifle Barrel Blank 30-1313-2700-284-080-01-A

Geissele 7mm G-Strat Cut Rifle Barrel Blank 30-1313-2700-284-080-01-A is 27 inches of already-rifled stainless steel, waiting on a gunsmith to turn it into an actual chambered barrel. The rifling itself - a 1:8 twist, cut on Geissele's own proprietary in-house machines rather than button or hammer-forged - is already done. What's left is chambering, muzzle threading, and crowning to the builder's exact specs. Cut rifling takes longer and costs more to produce than button rifling, but it's generally accepted as the more accurate method, since it introduces less stress into the bore than forcing a button through under pressure. This blank goes through a honing process afterward to correct any out-of-round condition, then gets air-gauged and bore-scoped before it ships - quality checks most barrel blanks skip. The G-Strat contour leaves enough material for a gunsmith to shape the final profile around whatever the build calls for, whether that's a lightweight mountain rifle or a heavier long-range setup. At 1:8 twist, this Rifle Barrel Blank is built to stabilize the full range of 7mm (.284) bullet weights a gunsmith might chamber it for, from mid-weight hunting loads up through heavier long-range projectiles. Key Features: 27" overall blank length G-Strat contour 7mm (.284) caliber 1:8 twist, cut rifling (already finished) High-quality stainless steel Honed, air-gauged, and bore-scoped for quality control Chamber, thread, and crown finished by gunsmith Made in the USA This Geissele barrel blank hands a gunsmith the hardest part already done — precision rifling - so the finishing work is about tailoring the chamber and contour to the shooter, not fighting bore consistency from scratch.
