Description
The Geissele Super Modular Rail MK4 Federal is an AR-15 handguard built around M-LOK and Picatinny mounting for attaching accessories. Its 10.5-inch length and hardcoat anodized black finish suit AR-15 builds that need a modular forend. The raw description states that this rail is the same model used on Federal Bureau of Investigation contracts, though the structured facts do not verify that claim.
The rail is machined from 7000 series aluminum and features integrated M1913 Picatinny sections at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions. The 6 o'clock Picatinny section is elongated to accommodate accessories more comfortably. Venting reduces overall weight while maintaining a rigid platform. M-LOK slots are located at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions and the upper 45-degree quadrants.
The handguard fits the AR-15 platform.
