Description
The Geissele Super Modular Rail MK8 is a 9.3-inch free-float handguard for AR-15 rifles, including M16 and M4 platforms. It is built for shooters who want to mount accessories across the rail while keeping the platform rigid and lightweight.
The rail is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish. Magpul M-LOK slots are placed at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions and the upper 45-degree quadrants. Large venting at the lower 45-degree quadrants aids heat dissipation and reduces overall weight. The rail uses a proprietary 2-inch barrel nut, which increases contact with the receiver to help keep the free-float tube straight and maintain zero during removal and reinstallation.
