Geissele Super Precision 1-Piece Cantilever Picatinny Scope Mount 30mm Rings 7075-T6 Aluminum Desert Dirt

A U.S. Special Operation customer asked Geissele to make them an ultra high quality, bomb proof scope mounting system that met their mission critical return to zero requirements. The Geissele Super Precision Series of optic mounts were designed to meet their requirement and become the finest military sniper scope mounts. Machined from a single 4.5 pound block of aircraft grade 7075 -T6 billet aluminum, the Super Precision Scope Mount is milled down to an ultra light 7.2 ounces. Each Geissele Super Precision Scope Mount will feature four shear lugs precision machined to the minimum tolerance of the MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny slot so that the optic stays in place from recoil and bolt carrier counter recoil. While Geissele Super Precision Mounts previously featured serialized caps on the mounts, after ongoing testing and evaluation, Geissele found that the caps can be interchanged between base towers without any loss of precision or return-to-zero.
