This Geissele 35mm scope mount accessory integrates directly with the existing scope mount without changing the primary optic's centerline height. That preserves the original eye relief and zero, so adding a secondary sight doesn't mean re-zeroing the primary optic. The offset angle puts a secondary red dot within a quick head-tilt of the main sight picture, which is the whole point of running an offset mount in the first place.
