Its 12 gauge chamber is limited to 2.75-inch shells; it does not accept 3-inch shells. Keeping that chamber specification clear is essential when selecting ammunition for this compact configuration. The muzzle thread specification is 1.375-24.Included HUX VENTUM 12K SuppressorA HUX VENTUM 12K suppressor is supplied with the shotgun. The package brings the GEN-12 SBM and this named suppressor together in one purchase, making the suppressor a central part of the configuration. Confirm any additional accessories against the specific shotgun and suppressor requirements.Short-Recoil Action and GEN1 DPMS-Pattern LowerThe GEN-12 SBM uses short-recoil operation and a GEN1 DPMS .308-pattern lower. A mil-spec AR trigger gives the platform a familiar trigger format. The buffer system consists of a mil-spec buffer tube and a 3.8-ounce .308 short carbine buffer. The lower's .308 pattern describes its platform architecture; this firearm is chambered in 12 gauge.Adaptive Tactical Stock and Hogue GripAn Adaptive Tactical stock provides a shoulder-supported interface, and the Hogue rubberized grip adds a textured contact surface at the firing hand. This stock-and-grip combination gives the compact GEN-12 SBM defined shoulder and hand contact points. The Black variant keeps the overall appearance understated and easy to coordinate with an existing setup.Free-Float Handguard with M-LOK and Picatinny InterfacesThe free-float handguard provides M-LOK mounting positions at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, plus a full Picatinny top rail. These distinct interfaces support compatible accessories along the sides, underside and top of the handguard. Check the mounting interface and available clearance when selecting accessories for the short configuration.Product SpecificationsManufacturer: Genesis ArmsModel: GEN-12 SBMProduct type: Semi-automatic short-barreled shotgun with suppressorGauge: 12 gaugeBarrel length: 5 inchesChamber: 2.75-inch shells onlyMuzzle threads: 1.375-24Operating system: Short recoilColor: BlackHandguard: Free float; M-LOK at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock; full Picatinny top railLower pattern: GEN1 DPMS .308Buffer tube: Mil-specBuffer: .308 short carbine, 3.8 ouncesStock: Adaptive TacticalGrip: Hogue rubberizedTrigger: Mil-spec ARIncluded suppressor: HUX VENTUM 12KIncluded magazine: One 5-round magazineSKU: GA-GEN12-SBM-ADP-BLK-SBSUPC: 306005003061Included with This PackageGenesis Arms GEN-12 SBM 5-inch shotgun in Black with Adaptive Tactical stockHUX VENTUM 12K suppressorOne 5-round magazineSoft caseLimited warrantyNFA item.
