Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition AR-15 Snow Camo Features This rifle features a 16-inch heavy barrel (HBAR) with a 1:8 twist rate available in either 416R Stainless Steel or 4150 CRMOV Nitride ensuring durability corrosion resistance and precision accuracy. The barrel is threaded at 1/2 x 28 to accommodate the included muzzle brake which is designed to project blast and sound forward reducing shooter discomfort and enhancing the shooting experience. The AR-15 Snow Camo is built with a robust 7075 aluminum upper and a 15.25 aluminum 6061 handguard with a full Picatinny rail providing ample space for optics and accessories. The mil-spec polymer grip and M4 feed ramps ensure reliable handling and feeding while the 0.750 gas block (black oxide) and carbine gas tube offer reliable operation under various conditions. Despite its feature-rich design the rifle maintains a manageable weight of 6.8 lbs and an overall length of 33.25 inches.
