Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition SUB-1 Green/Stainless .308 Win 18 Fluted Barrel 5-Rounds

Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition SUB-1 Features The Great Lakes SUB-1 centers on a jeweled stainless steel action built on the Remington 700 pattern a well proven footprint that gives shooters access to a huge aftermarket of stocks triggers and chassis systems down the road. Its 416R stainless steel barrel is fluted to reduce weight and aid in heat dissipation during strings of fire while the double stress relieved button rifling process is intended to improve barrel harmonics and long-term accuracy. The 1:10 twist rate is matched to common .308 Win bullet weights giving the rifle versatility across a range of factory and handloaded ammunition. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle allows the shooter to add a suppressor or muzzle brake without needing aftermarket gunsmithing. The SUB-1 s stock is built from long strand carbon fiber a material that keeps the rifle light in the hands while remaining stiff and resistant to the warping that can affect traditional stock materials in changing weather. A built-in ARCA rail along the forend lets shooters mount a bipod or tripod head directly without needing a separate rail adapter which is a convenience for both bench shooting and field positions. Feeding comes from a detachable AICS pattern magazine a widely supported format that makes spare magazines easy to source and swap in the field. Finished in a green and black Cerakote over its stainless metal and assembled in the USA the Great Lakes SUB-1 is a purpose-built precision rifle for sale at ARMSAGORA for shooters chasing tight groups at distance.
