Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition Features The Great Lakes Firearms Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition deploys its 3.5 inch D2 steel blade through an out the front spring assisted push button mechanism giving users a fast one handed opening when a traditional folding knife would be too slow. D2 tool steel holds an edge well and resists wear so the plain edge blade stays sharp through repeated use. The clip point blade shape adds a fine tip useful for detail work while still supporting general cutting tasks. At 8 inches overall and roughly 4 inches closed the Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition strikes a practical balance between a compact carry size and a usable blade length. The 6061 aluminum handle is finished in OD Green Cerakote giving the knife a durable corrosion resistant exterior that stands up to daily carry. A built in glass breaker on the handle adds a practical emergency tool without requiring a separate accessory while the integrated belt clip keeps the knife secured and accessible. A free black nylon carry case is included giving owners a way to store or transport the knife when it is not clipped to a belt.
