Great Lakes Firearms GL15 Mission Manhattan Camo .223 Wylde 16" Threaded 30-Round AR-15

Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition GL15 Mission Manhattan Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 Mission pairs a 7075 billet lower receiver finished in Manhattan Camo Cerakote with a 16 inch chrome moly vanadium barrel treated with a black nitride finish for corrosion resistance. The 1:8 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of .223 Wylde bullet weights and the .223 Wylde chamber allows the rifle to safely and accurately run both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition. A threaded muzzle with a 1/2x28 thread pattern accepts the factory installed muzzle brake which helps reduce recoil and muzzle climb during rapid fire. The direct impingement operating system delivers reliable cycling shot after shot in this configuration. A 15.125 inch M-LOK handguard gives shooters plenty of space to add lights foregrips or bipods and the full length Picatinny rail on the upper receiver accepts a red dot or magnified optic. The adjustable stock and Mil-Spec pistol grip keep the manual of arms familiar to any AR-15 shooter while the Mil-Spec trigger breaks at a consistent 5.5 to 6 pounds. A selector switch safety rounds out the intuitive control layout. Weighing 6.8 pounds and shipping with a 30 round AR-15 magazine the GL15 Mission Manhattan Camo blends bold styling with the dependable performance shooters expect from the AR-15 platform.
