Griffin Armament 30mm Cantilever Mount 1.5" Height

Griffin Armament Cantilever Mount Features The Griffin Armament Cantilever Mount is designed to extend a 30mm riflescope forward of the standard Picatinny rail footprint solving the common problem of needing more eye relief room than a rifle s rail length alone provides. That forward extension lets a shooter mount larger objective scopes or scopes with shorter eye relief without crowding the optic too close to the eye under recoil. At 1.5 inches of mount height the cantilever clears larger objective bells and backup iron sights while keeping the scope at a comfortable cheek weld height. A 6 inch overall length gives the mount enough ring spacing to securely clamp a 30mm tube scope without flex. Finished in black to match standard Picatinny rail hardware the mount is machined to clamp directly onto a Picatinny or Weaver style rail without needing proprietary rail systems. At 10.8 ounces it adds a modest predictable amount of weight to a rifle build while providing a stable repeatable mounting platform. For shooters running larger objective riflescopes or who need their optic moved forward for proper eye relief this Griffin Armament cantilever mount is a direct practical solution.
