Description
The Griffin Armament M2 Rear Sight is a folding iron sight for AR-15 style rifles, designed as a backup to an optic or as a primary sight. It mounts to a Picatinny rail and is listed as compatible with the A2 sight system.
The sight is machined from 17-4 stainless steel and finished in matte black. Its low profile is intended to keep the rail area uncluttered when folded. The sight's modular base design allows it to be mounted in a 12 o'clock position or set at a 45-degree angle using alternate angle plates, which the manufacturer describes as ambidextrous.
The rear sight is offered separately from the complete M2 kit, which also includes a front sight assembly and both vertical and angled bases.
