The Griffin Armament Sportsman Ultra Light 36 HD is a .36 caliber suppressor built for hunters and shooters who want one can for both rifle and handgun use. It is machined from 17-4PH stainless steel with an H900 heat treatment and uses a tubeless laser welded design, a construction upgrade over the earlier aluminum Sportsman Ultra Light models. The unit is finished in black Cerakote and weighs 12.2 oz with an overall length of 6.09 inches and a diameter of 1.5 inches.
It is rated for rifle calibers up to .338 Lapua Magnum and pistol calibers up to 9mm with a Nielsen booster, and carries a full-auto rating. Its ECO-FLOW baffle design is intended to reduce exposure to blowback gas and system gas pressure. The suppressor mounts with 1.375x24 HUB threading, which accepts Griffin HUB mount adapters and compatible mounts from other manufacturers.
