Gunwerks delivers extreme precision in a compact, highly portable package with the Accountant Rifle System. One of the Accountant's most notable features is its takedown capabilities, allowing the entire rifle to be quickly and easily disassembled into just 4 main parts, which are stored in a discrete, stylish, and lockable leather brief case. The Accountant utilizes an integrally suppressed 17.5" barrel. The barrel features a 6" baffle stack and is covered by a titanium sleeve. When the rifle is fired, the sleeve moves gasses internally down the entire length of the barrel, bringing the noise level down to just 140dB. During the development of the Accountant, Gunwerks partnered with Federal Custom Shop and designed a cartridge specifically made for the Accountant Rifle System. The result is a load that maximizes velocity and downrange performance with a 175-grain Terminal Ascent bullet. Other features of the Accountant include a JTAC chassis with a collapsible stock. A collapsible stock was specifically chosen over a folding stock to minimize the width of the rifle and allowing the chassis to fit in the case. The Accountant is rounded out with an included Leupold Mark 5 HD Scope which comes equipped with the exclusive Professional-Grade Optical System. This innovative optical design delivers superb light transmission for ideal performance in adverse lighting conditions, as well as industry-leading glare reduction for a clear image in harsh, direct light.
