The VP9SK is the subcompact version of the renowned Heckler & Koch VP series handgun, seamlessly inheriting the sought after attributes of its larger VP counterparts while adopting a more concealable profile. It incorporates the widely praised HK VP precision strike trigger, mirroring the performance of its larger counterparts. The VP trigger outperforms its competitors, featuring a concise, light take-up, a solid single action type break, and a succinct positive reset, offering unmatched trigger quality among production striker fired pistols. A scaled down interpretation of the fully adjustable VP grip characteristic - encompassing interchangeable backstraps and lateral grip panels - is replicated within the compact grip frame of the VP9SK. This ensures effortless customization for each user and stands as an exclusive feature of Heckler & Koch handguns. Molded finger grooves on the front of the pistol grip instinctively position the operator's hand for optimal shooting. The VPSK boasts the latest attributes of state-of-the-art handguns. All controls are fully ambidextrous, with slide releases on both sides of the frame and the paddle style magazine release easily activated by both left- and right-handed shooters. HK's patented charging supports, a feature of full size VP pistols, also make an appearance on the VPSK. Positioned on each side of the slide's rear, these charging supports enhance gripping leverage for rearward slide racking. They expedite reloads and assist shooters with reduced hand strength in operating the VP more effectively. VPSK pistols accommodate various proven HK magazines, including compact double stack 10-rounds flat floor and 13/15-rounds extended magazines for improved ergonomic grip.
