Henry ~ H014-223 ~ 5.56 Nato

The Henry Long Ranger Lever-Action Rifle greatly extends the effective range of traditional lever guns by using a 6-lug rotating bolt head, a box magazine, and side ejection port that readily accommodates modern, high-pressure cartridges. The Long Ranger offers the look and feel of a traditional American lever-action, though its design is modern throughout. The top of the aircraft-aluminum alloy receiver is drilled and tapped, and fitted with threaded steel grommets to accept the scope-base screws (base included). Cartridges are ejected out of the right side of the receiver, and a recessed button under the ejection port releases the magazine for quick reloading and safe unloading. The Henry Long Ranger Lever-Action Rifle is equipped with an oil-finished, American walnut, 2-piece stock. The grip area of the buttstock and the forend feature wrap-around checkering. A black, rubber recoil pad absorbs shock, and assists in keeping the butt solidly planted on the shoulder to deliver accurate rapid fire. The forend features a steel cap with sling swivel studs to accommodate slings. The Long Ranger offers the dexterity to handle quickly in tight cover, yet has the capability to reach out over sage brush flats to take big game at long range. SKU:5429309
