Description
The Henry Big Boy Side Gate is a lever-action rifle chambered in 45 Colt, built for hunters and shooters who want a traditional repeater with a modern loading option. It keeps the removable tube magazine associated with Henry's 1860s-era design while adding a side loading gate, so the magazine can be topped off without emptying it first.
The rifle has a 20-inch octagon barrel and a brass receiver with a blued finish. Its overall length is 38.5 inches and it weighs 8.68 pounds. The tube holds 10 rounds. Sights are a brass bead front and a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. The receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting optics. It is a right-hand rifle.
