Description
The Heritage Manufacturing Rough Rider is a single action revolver modeled on the Single Action Army, scaled down for shooters who want that look and handling in a smaller package. It is a rimfire handgun intended for target shooting, plinking and training with 22 LR and 22 WMR ammunition.
The revolver has a 4.75-inch barrel and an overall length of 10.03 inches, and weighs 1.91 pounds. It holds 6 rounds in the cylinder and uses a fixed front sight with a notched rear sight. The frame is zinc alloy with a blued finish in black, and the hammer block in the recoil shield carries a red dot indicator that shows when the gun is ready to fire.
The Rough Rider is chambered for both 22 LR and 22 WMR, so one cylinder handles either cartridge. The retailer text describes a flat-sided hammer and cocobolo grips on this model, though grip materials and finish options vary by variant.
