The pouch has a taller back panel that makes reinserting magazines easier, and it includes an integrated storage area for shock cord tails. The shell is described as waterproof and easy to clean. Its mounting options allow stacking with other pouches, such as additional rifle or pistol pouches, for configurable loadouts.
