High Standard introduced their Sentinel revolver line in 1955, at the request of Sears Roebuck which was a major customer and owned quite a bit of High Standard stock. The High Standard Sentinel MK II is a .357 Magnum single-/double-action 6-shot revolver produced by Dan Wesson for High Standard. It features a swing-out cylinder, a blue finish, a steel frame, and fixed sights. The revolver was produced between 1974 and 1975 and is known for its innovative design, including a unique grip and a simplified cylinder lock mechanism.
