Hijos de Victor Aramberri y Cia ~ 12 Ga

This shotgun was manufactured by Hijos de Víctor Aramberri y Cía, located in Eibar, Spain. This firm operated throughout much of the 20th century, notably producing robust, dependable side-by-side boxlock and sidelock field gunsmost famously under their trademarked "Hercules" line. The "Nitro Proofed" stamp indicates that the steel barrels were tested at the official Eibar Proof House to withstand modern smokeless powder (nitro) pressures rather than obsolete black powder.
