Description
The HIPERFIRE AK Safety Selector is a replacement safety selector for AK-pattern rifles chambered in 7.62x39mm and 5.45x39mm, with fitment listed for the AK-47 and AK-74 in black. It is designed to address poor contact between the safety and an aftermarket trigger, a common fitment problem on the AK platform, using a shorter body with a built-in adjustment screw to set engagement.
The selector's shorter body and integrated adjustment screw let the user tune how the safety sits against the trigger, rather than relying on grinding or filing the trigger. The retailer text describes the design as US patent pending.
