The Hogue Extreme Aluminum Government Model grips are replacement grip panels for the 1911 pistol in the Government size. They are machined from solid billet 6061 T6 aluminum and finished with a clear gloss anodized coating for a hard, durable surface.
The grips include an ambidextrous safety cut, which allows the thumb safety to be operated from either side of the pistol. The panels are sized to fit the 1911 Government frame and are intended for shooters who want a metal grip panel in place of standard grips.
