The Holosun IRIS 2 Red/IR is a dual-function laser sight built on a Picatinny mount, combining a visible red laser pointer with an infrared laser pointer. It is intended for mounting on a rail-equipped firearm and is designed for use with both visible and infrared aiming needs.
The housing is machined from 7075 aluminum with an anodized black finish. The unit measures 3.2 inches by 1.85 inches by 1.3 inches and weighs 5 ounces. The redesign reduces weight by 45 percent and sits 21 percent lower than the previous model. A center-positioned fire button supports ambidextrous activation of momentary or constant-on functions, a rear-facing power and mode selector switch is included, and a compact remote fire button is provided.
