Horizon Firearms Vandal Carbon II 7mm Backcountry 22" Fluted Barrel 5-Rounds

Horizon Firearms Vandal Carbon II Features The Horizon Firearms Vandal Carbon II is built around a fluted carbon fiber barrel finished in black reducing weight significantly compared to a traditional steel barrel while retaining the accuracy demanded of a long-range hunting rifle. A 1:8 inch twist rate stabilizes heavier 7mm Backcountry bullets for consistent long-range performance. The barrel is threaded at 5/8x24 and fitted with an Iota Sim brake to tame recoil and keep the shooter on target for a quick follow-up shot if needed. The receiver is drilled and tapped and includes a Picatinny rail mount giving hunters a ready platform for mounting a long-range optic. The stock is an exposed carbon fiber Iota EKO X design finished in black contributing to the rifle s low overall weight of just 6.06 lbs a critical factor for hunters covering miles of rough terrain. A two-position safety offers simple reliable operation in the field while the TriggerTech trigger delivers a crisp consistent break for precise shot placement on game at distance. The rifle feeds from a 5+1 capacity magazine giving hunters a quick follow-up capability without adding bulk. Standing 7.5 inches tall and measuring 40 inches overall the Vandal Carbon II is purpose built for serious backcountry pursuits.
