Hornady American Whitetail 450 Bushmaster 250 Grain FTX 20 Rounds

Hornady American Whitetail 450 Bushmaster ammunition is a 250 grain hunting load for the 450 Bushmaster cartridge, sometimes called "The Thumper" after the Hornady and Bushmaster Firearms collaboration. Each round uses a Flex Tip eXpanding (FTX) bullet, whose interlocking design is intended to keep the core and jacket together while controlling expansion.

The cartridge is listed at a muzzle velocity of 2200 fps. The load is non-corrosive, uses new production boxer-primed brass cases that can be reloaded, and is packed 20 rounds per box with 10 boxes per case.

The 450 Bushmaster is chambered in compatible AR-15 style rifles, and this load is marketed for hunting North American game.
