Hornady ELD-Match 6mm / .243 109 Grain 500-Count ELD-M

Hornady ELD-Match Features The Hornady ELD-Match bullet owes its ballistic performance to the Heat Shield polymer tip which resists the heat-induced deformation that blunts ordinary polymer tips during high-velocity flight. Because the tip retains its PERFECT MEPLAT shape downrange the bullet keeps a consistent ballistic coefficient of .585 from the muzzle through its entire trajectory which matters most at extended distances where small inconsistencies become large group dispersions. The secant ogive and boattail design work together to minimize drag while maintaining stability giving this 109 grain 6mm bullet a sectional density of .264 that aids penetration and retained energy. These design elements combine to make the ELD-Match bullet a favorite among competitive shooters who need every advantage at the firing line. Each 109 grain bullet is built on a best-in-class swaged lead core that ensures uniform weight and concentricity across the entire production run which translates directly into lot-to-lot consistency handloaders can trust. This 500-count box gives reloaders a substantial supply for load development and competition use without having to restock constantly. The .243 diameter fits standard 6mm cartridge cases making this bullet a versatile choice for a range of 6mm rifle platforms. Precision rifle competitors and long-range hunters alike rely on Hornady s reputation for match-grade consistency when choosing a projectile for their most demanding loads.
