Hornady Harvester .50 Caliber / .452 240 Grain 20-Count Sabot Hornady XTP

Hornady Harvester XTP Features The Hornady Harvester sabot bullet pairs a .452 inch diameter Hornady XTP projectile with a .50 caliber sabot sleeve giving muzzleloader hunters a proven accurate bullet system. At 240 grains this bullet strikes a balance between velocity and penetration suited to a wide range of North American game. The XTP s jacketed hollow point design is engineered to expand reliably whether fired at close range or extended muzzleloader hunting distances. This consistent expansion behavior across a range of velocities gives hunters confidence in terminal performance regardless of shot distance. Muzzleloader hunters rely on deep controlled penetration for ethical humane kills and the Harvester s XTP construction is built specifically to deliver that outcome. The sabot sleeve centers the .452 inch bullet within a .50 caliber muzzleloader bore stabilizing the projectile through the barrel for improved accuracy downrange. Packaged 20 bullets per box this component gives handloaders enough material to develop and test a season s worth of muzzleloader loads. As a reloading component this Harvester bullet is not a loaded round and must be assembled into a complete muzzleloader charge before use.
