Hornady Handgun Hunter 500 S&W Magnum 300gr MonoFlex 20 Rounds

The Hornady Handgun Hunter is a 500 S&W Magnum hunting cartridge built around a 300-grain MonoFlex bullet. The bullet is made from a copper alloy harder and tougher than solid copper, which is meant to allow deep penetration without the bullet separating on impact. An elastomer insert in the open cavity compresses on contact and pushes back out to drive faster expansion than a traditional hollow point.

The load is intended for medium and larger game, where a straight, controlled wound channel is the priority. It is loaded in brass cases and sold in boxes of 20 rounds, and the cases are reloadable for handloaders. Chambering is for revolvers chambered in .500 S&W Magnum.
