Description
Hornady Match 75 gr BTHP bullets are .224" diameter, 22 caliber reloading bullets packed 100 per box for handloaders building precision target ammunition. Each one is a boat tail hollow point with a jacketed lead core, sold as a component for your own loads. The standout is Hornady's AMP (Advanced Manufacturing Process) jacket, the company's most consistently concentric design, so the bullets in each box closely match one another. That concentric jacket wraps a precision swaged lead core, and Hornady manufactures both parts to tight standards for consistency and accuracy. Up front, a secant ogive profile lowers drag for a flatter trajectory and gives the bullet an optimum bearing surface for stability in flight. At the base, Hornady optimizes the boat tail angle and length for each caliber and weight in the Match line to maximize ballistic coefficient (BC). At the bench, a consistent projectile makes it easier to read what your powder charge and seating depth changes are doing on paper. If you shoot this weight in volume, the same 75 gr bullet comes in a 600-count bulk box. The Match line also offers 68 gr BTHP, 52 gr BTHP, and 53 gr HP bullets in .224" diameter, each packed 100 per box.
